This week is the last race of the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship. At the end of the race a new champion will be crowned. The venue is Homestead-Miami Speedway for the 10th and final Chase Race of the season.

I am concluding my second week without power, internet, cable, and phones as well as two weeks without my children in school. Life is interesting to say the least in the wake of Superstorm Sandy. But I have found solace and relief in writing posts for Chief 187™Chatter.
