Friday Music Blog - New Jersey Artists

Welcome to the Friday Music Blog on Chief 187 Chatter. The week is closing on the 1st Anniversary of Chief 187 Chatter. There have been amazing, thought-provoking, and heart-warming responses on each day’s blog which leave me feeling splendid! As I do each Friday and have since week one, I end the week with the Friday Music Blog. As music is a part of my life, celebrations, and milestones, it seems especially fitting to conclude this occasion.

This week’s focus is songs by artists from New Jersey. I found this topic to be fitting because I am an artist from New Jersey!

From Sinatra to Bruce, Bon Jovi to the Four Seasons and any other act in between, list your favorite tunes performed by New Jerseyites!

Please check in to this blog throughout the day and weekend as people consistently add their selections. Then, I invite you to return on Monday for the start of an entirely new week of original posts!

I couldn’t ask for a better, more involved or emotionally invested readership. With stalwarts like my adoring husband and Jules, Art and Grumpa, Archidude and Pam, to newer readers like Dating Diva Liz, Dr. Mo, The Soulful EMU, and RandRBartow, I am blissful, fulfilled, and satisfied. But I am not giving up my quest to reach and touch more lives, so hold on tightly because the next year is going to be filled with more amazing Simple Joys!

  1. First and foremost the Chairman Of The Board Frank Sinatra! What style he impacted all who followed! Anything he sang he "owned" . Too many songs to list but I will be finding Frank on my player today listening and singing My Way.

    I Played The Fool
    Trapped Again
    Talk To Me
    Fever
You Mean So Much To Me
    Having A Party
I know I can't forget Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes
