Alyssa Milano and her husband of two years David Bulgliari ecstatically announced the arrival of their baby boy on August 31st. Milo Thomas Bugliari, seven pounds and nineteen inches long, became the boss of his family on Wednesday morning. Milo is the first child for both Alyssa and her husband David.
As social media is ever-present, Alyssa Milano tweeted about the birth of her son, “Thank you for all of the well wishes for my son Milo. My heart has tripled in size. I love him more than all the leaves on all the trees!”
Alyssa Milano became a star on the eighties television sitcom Who’s the Boss where she played Samantha Micelli, daughter of Tony Micelli (Tony Danza) who moved he and his daughter to Connecticut from their native New York to provide Samantha with the best life had to offer. The series ran from 1984-1992. Milano then had a stint on Melrose Place for one season (1997-98). In 1998 Milano debuted in Charmed (1998-2006), a program that built an intense following and a role that led Milano to stardom once again. Movie roles, lackluster at best, and other television spots followed.
Now Alyssa Milano will take a much needed maternity break to spend time with her son. She will be concentrating on getting her figure back shortly, however, because she will be walking the red carpet later this year to promote her newest ensemble cast movie, New Year’s Eve. The film, starring Katherine Heigl, Josh Duhamel, Zac Efron, Jessica Biel, and Lea Michele among others, debuts December 9th. The movie follows the lives of several couples and singles in New York and how their lives intertwine over the course of a fateful New Year’s Eve.
Best of luck to the new parents! Milo is one lucky little boy!
