Monday Movie Blog - Favorite Television Christmas Episodes

Welcome to the Monday Movie Blog on Chief 187™Chatter. Last week we explored everybody's three favorite Christmas movies. At this time of year I am stuck in holiday mode and

cannot think of watching movies that aren’t set at Christmastime. It’s a sickness I realize, but one that I am not looking for a cure. The Christmas Season is relatively short so I spend any and all time watching Christmas favorites and always seeking new ones. In the interest of not repeating myself, I will pose this week’s topic in a broader fashion.

This week’s focus is begging your indulgence and is asking for your favorite Christmas episodes

of television shows from yesteryear or still currently running. This could be a cartoon program, sitcom, drama, variety show, or anything else. Television movies are also eligible for this category so put your thinking caps on and list any and all of your favorite television Christmas episodes.

To access former Monday Movie Blogs, please type “Monday Movie Blog” into the Search feature located in the upper left hand corner of this page. Feel free to add any new selections you see fit for the topic. This is an ever-changing resource for the readers of Chief 187™Chatter so I encourage you all to use it at your leisure.

Please join me tomorrow for Chief 187™Chatter’s most popular post, Simple Joys.

  1. The Christmas Episodes of M*A*S*H were always great.

  2. The Big Bang Theory! Season 2 Episode 11, "Bath Item Gift Hypothesis." Unfortunately, you need to watch at least 6 to 8 other episodes to understand the connection between each of the characters to understand the specialness of this episode. Myself and other fans of the show all agree... BEST. EPISODE. EVER! I even still get touched at the end.

  3. Okay, it's a movie, but they used to show it at Christmas time when I was a kid ..."The Best Years of Our Lives". It's about how soldiers from WWII fit (or didn't fit) into society after the war. VERY moving stories, and I believe won the best film Oscar in 1946.
